Transportation Services
The transportation department
provides engineering and technical services for projects involving
highways, bridges, airports, and other similar type improvements.
This department provides preparation
of the required documents for County and Municipal use of Motor Fuel Tax (MFT)
funds utilized for general street maintenance, new construction or
reconstruction of streets, highways, and bridges. The department has
worked with counties in the required design and plan preparation for
County Highway Improvements including new right-of-way plats, descriptions
and environmental clearances.
The transportation department can
provide airport owners all required services to meet the Illinois Division
of Aeronautics requirements such as:

This department can provide services
to State Agencies that are doing Capital Improvements. The services and
documents required by the Capital Development Board from preliminary
budgets, design through construction, including all construction
observation and closeout can be provided.
Benton & Associates, Inc. is pre-qualified with the Illinois Department of Transportation and the
Illinois Capital Development Board.
