LOCATION: MACOMB,
Civil/Municipal
Engineer – with a
minimum of 3-5 years experience in some of the aspects of municipal projects:
water/wastewater, streets, drainage, site development, and storm water. Project
involvement could include all phases of projects including feasibility studies,
preliminary engineering reports, design, bidding, construction and start-up.
Requirements for this position include a B.S. in Civil or Environmental
Engineering. PE license a plus. Salary commensurate with experience and
capabilities of candidate. BRIDGE/STRUCTURAL
ENGINEER - minimum
of two (2) years experience in bridge and miscellaneous structure design. BSCE
required, PE and SE license a plus. Use and knowledge of CADD and a working
knowledge of AASHTO and IDOT design requirements a plus. Salary commensurate
with experience and capabilities of candidate. CIVIL/MUNICIPAL
ENGINEER -
experience in some of the aspects of municipal work; water/wastewater, streets,
drainage, development, zoning, permitting, preliminary design, development of
plans and specifications, inspection, and construction observation. BSCE
required, PE license a plus. Salary commensurate with experience and
capabilities of candidate. ENGINEERING
TECHNICIAN - an
Associate=s
degree in civil engineering technology is preferred. Candidate should possess
strong math skills. Preferred experience to include surveying, site/civil
engineering and construction document preparation including site planning,
streets/parking, storm sewer, sanitary sewer and water projects. General
assignments include supporting the firm=s
engineering and surveying services on highway, site development, environmental,
and structural projects. Support includes, but is not limited to, construction
observation; preparing drawings; plans and details using CADD; and supporting
office operations as assigned by project managers. Knowledge of and capability
with Microstation/AutoCAD software is highly desirable. Experience with GEOPAK/Civil
3D a plus. Knowledge of IDOT
drafting standards is beneficial. Salary commensurate with experience and
capabilities of candidate. CONSTRUCTION
OBSERVER –
observer should have a basic knowledge of the construction process, be capable
of reading blueprints, evaluating contractor compliance with construction plans
and specifications. Observer should also be capable of coordinating and
overseeing contractors in a field environment on a daily basis. Experience in
railroad and highway construction is beneficial. Experience in other realms of
construction, to include water line, water treatment, and structures is also
beneficial. Individual needs to be self-motivated and prepared to work in a
fast-paced environment. Salary commensurate with experience and capabilities of
candidate. Receptionist/Secretary – candidate to have professional demeanor, excellent client
relation skills and computer skills (Word/Excel/Acrobat), typing 70 wpm, able to
handle multiple phone lines, attention to detail, have ability to organize,
prioritize and manage multiple tasks with a "whatever it takes"
